1. Activate your SIM card at Spectrum SIM Platform.

2. Find the Alcatel WiFi SSID, WiFi Key, and HTTP address from the back of your device.

3. Insert the SIM card into the Alcatel SIM card slot.

4. Power on the Alcatel device.

5. Connect your desktop or mobile device to the Alcatel WiFi. The WiFi name and password are from Step 2 above. Typically they are on the back of your device. For the sample we use, the WiFi name is HH41NH.

6. Open a browser and enter the HTTP address from Step 2. For the router we test it is http://192.168.1.1. The default password is admin.

7. Once you login, click Settings, then click Profile Management, then click New

8. Enter puffin under Profile Name, enter 800 under Dial number, puffin under APN. And click Save

9. Under Profile management dropdown menu, select puffin.

10. Click Set default to put the puffin as your default APN profile.

11. Click settings and then Monthly Plan.

12. Under Monthly Data Plan enter a number, for example, 5 for 5GB as your monthly data usage upper limit. We noticed if the router may not work if you do not set the monthly data plan.

13. Click Apply to save the changes.

14. Click Settings and then Network connection. Turn on data roaming.

15. Click Apply to save changes.

16. Reboot your device. You can power off your device and then power on.

17. Or, you can click the System->Reboot & Reset -> Reboot. You are all set.
