1. Activate your SIM card at Spectrum SIM Platform.

2. If your MiFi device already has a pre-installed SIM card, skip step 3.

3. Insert the nano SIM card into the slot on the side of the device. Make sure to align the SIM card correctly.

4. Power on your MiFi device.

5. Connect your desktop or laptop to the MiFi hotspot. Look for a WiFi network name that starts with MiFi_.

6. Use the default password 12345678 to connect.

7. After connecting, open a web browser and type 192.168.43.1 in the address bar. This will take you to the MiFi settings page.

8. If this is your first time using the MiFi, the device will prompt you to change the default password for security.

9. After changing the password, you’ll need to reconnect to the hotspot.

10. Open your browser again and re-enter 192.168.43.1 to continue configuring the settings if needed.

11. Go to the Network Settings option in the top menu.

12. In the middle of the screen, click the + symbol to add a new profile.

13. Enter puffin as the Profile Name.

14. In the APN filed, enter your SIM card APN. If you have the SIM card from us, it is eihter puffin or data641003.

15. Click save to save your settings.

16. Now go back to the Network Settings page, set the puffin profile as the default one.

17. Scroll the screen a bit up, turn on both Mobile data and Data Roaming

18. Your Network Settings page should be like the one showing here.

19. Click the Home button on the top of the menu. Your network connection should be green.

20. If you have trouble, go to Network Settings page to check if the Data Roaming is on, as shown in Steps 17 and 18.
